I'm 19 years old (1982) and I'm playing the bass for about 2,5 years now.
Before that, I played piano in my childhood.
My first bass was a second hand Ibanez, a Blazer custom made (Fender Precision copy).
It's a decent bass where I learned my basics on. That bass is now in progress to become
a fretless one. In the meantime I found an other lefty on the internet, an Ibanez EX,
which was a real bargain. I really love to play it, it has a good sound and is very
light, which makes it easy to rehursal for quite a long time. My amplifier is an SWR
combo, but I'm looking for an decent 2nd Ashdown combo.
I'm also a member of a band, called Interfear. There are four of us and we play
together for about more then a year now. We only do covers for the moment, and that
varies from One (U2) till Am I Evil (Metallica). So far we did 2 giggs but there are
planned some more. Own songs, as well as a website, is something for the (near) future.
My bass playing examples are Flea and Axl Peleman (from Antwerp, ex- Ashbury Faith
and now Angelico). My favorite bands are AC/DC, Metallica, TOOL, Ben Harper and The
Doors. I managed to see them all live, except for The Doors (altough I did see their
best covergroup, The L.A. Doors). So you can say I like concerts and music in general
